About UsHi we're Ed, Kathy, Nathanael and Eliana. We currently live in the UK but we are preparing to move to Liberia to work with MAF. Ed plans to use the skills he has acquired from flying with the Royal Air Force (RAF) for over 15 years to help some of Liberia's poorest communities in remote locations. Check out the 'road trip' video below to see why MAF is so needed there! You can also see our timeline to departure here.

About MAF Liberia
MAF has operated in Liberia since 2015 and currently serves over 168 NGOs and mission groups working to bring hope to Liberia’s poorest, including those living in refugee camps along Liberia’s borders. Liberia’s 14-year civil war, claimed more than 250,000 lives and left the country in economic ruin. Today, around 80% of the population live below the poverty line and the terrible impact of the 2014-2015 Ebola epidemic is still being felt. Adding to the challenges in Liberia is an average rainfall of over 4.6 metres a year, which makes travel difficult as vehicles get stuck in thick mud, sometimes for days at a time, on the country’s unpaved roads.
